It’s that time of year again, the class of 2012 has graduated and making most of their summer before college begins. Congratulations and Good Luck to all!
Another Congratulations goes out to the class of 2012, you are seniors now, the leaders of the school! How does it feel?
I am excited the summer is here, yes of course for the beautiful weather and trips to the beach, but more so for the seniors! Every year I have the opportunity to meet so many fantastic individuals, I’m excited to see who I will meet this year!
Last week I met K, and let me say, every session has a story, and well, this one was not any different!
If you recall most of the week was a whole lot of pouring rain, and just very wet! The day of her session came and rain again was predicted, but it looked as though showers would be passing through and that was all.
We had a beautiful location scouted out, fields that fit perfectly with her outfit and ideas
Check out those boots!
I love this image, for the location, the dress, the boots and above all the laugh!
This location was chosen for another reason as well, a little traipsing by the fields and through the land and
Railroad Tracks! Awesome!
So what you don’t see is the pond we had to pass, which with all the rain it had of course overflowed, the path was no more and we trudged through swampland. Shoes were being sucked into the ground, mud was splashing up everywhere, plants and bushes were attacking us from everywhere . . . but she still had a smile on her face!
This girl is a trooper! I must say! We of course had to walk back through the swampland and out through the fields, which was no problem, since it was the end of the session right? Who cares how much mud . . . oh wait, that’s when it started to rain. When we hit the swamp it started to pour! It’s a good thing we had gotten all the shots we wanted because the umbrellas were in the car and we were both drenched!
Crazy, but wonderful session! A huge Thank You to Carissa of Makeup by Carissa Ashley for providing beautiful makeup. Even if she did conveniently leave prior to the swampland and rain adventure!
A huge Thank You as well to Miss K who was such a trooper through our session experience, and such a joy to work with! A preview of her session will be posted on Facebook, be sure to check it out!
We’re still booking for this summer, limited spots available with Makeup by Carissa Ashley, so please contact us soon!!
