Everything outside is white, schools and activities are all closed and we are in a state of emergency! Of course this was predicted, but at the early warnings of 10 to 16 inches of snow we thought for sure it would be maybe 6 – 8 if we got lucky. At least thats how the past ‘storms’ have been this year.
24 hours later from that prediction and 20 inches later they say at least 18 – 24 inches. A true storm! I want to go out and play in it but then I don’t want to make tracks in the clean white blanket, it’s too pretty. So instead we let the dog out and watched her try to navigate her way through the wind blown mounds that are in many places higher than she is. It looks as though she is swimming in it, you can’t help but smile watching her.
Snow days are great to catch up on work and reading and all kinds of things around the house. What have I done today? Reverted back to my childhood and 5 year old self and watched the new digitally restored, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast! Yes thats right, I got it for christmas and finally got someone to agree to watch it with me. I feel like its a true snow day and I got the day off from school 🙂
Okay, back to reality . . . ImagingUSA is right around the corner and I am super excited that I will be attending as a PPA member! I need to buckle down and figure out which classes I will attend, I wish I could go to them all!
I have been working more on my brand and new marketing material and it’s really coming along! I am actually loving working on it and am anxious to see how it all plays out. With Imaging around the corner I know I will see many new products and ideas which I hope to bring into it all as well.
Writing about my new materials leaves me wanting to work on them, I must go while the inspiration is flowing. Thank you blog for the fresh ideas! I will leave you with this image. I opened my front door just a bit ago and this is what I saw . . .
HAPPY SNOW DAY!!!!! 🙂
