If I had to pick the most popular item for my high school senior clients and their families, I would have to choose the Story Book.
When I was coming up with ideas of what I would offer this season, what would be something new and modern to offer I also took time to ask clients what their favorite item was when they were a senior, or what item did their older child or niece / nephew have that they might like for their soon to be senior. The response was image folios or proof folios, generally a folio of some kind that included anywhere from three to 12 photographs that could be placed out as a book or upright on the mantel or table.
I do not offer image folios, instead of the “old” traditional I opted for a modern take on the folio, a Story Book:
The book allows for the same sort of display of a collection of photographs, but its much more than just photos, it’s personal. The book stands at 8″ tall and 4″ wide, it is a hard cover “folio” type book with a twist, the inside has a page that folds open accordion style, displaying a photo layout on both sides of the fold-out.
As the photos show, the book allows for quotes and sayings that help to tell the story of each senior and their high school career. The layout these photos show is our “traditional” layout, which allows seniors to order the book in this style with the changes being the photographs and quotes. For even more of a personal, story telling touch, we do offer custom book creations, which let’s face it, what senior doesn’t like something that’s all about them! 🙂
I love these books and have gotten so much positive feedback I know that they will be here to stay! Contact us today to book your senior portrait session to order your very own customized Story Book!
